Marylin Frances Tronson, the daughter of Harold and Thelma (Peterson) Fink, was born on November 10, 1933, in Peterson, Iowa. At a young age, Marylin's family moved to the Melvin area where she attended school and graduated from high school in 1951. After graduation, she worked as a nurse's aide at the Spencer Hospital and then as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Co. in Spencer.
On December 11, 1953, Marylin married Marlin Sievers in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Following their marriage, she worked at several jobs in several communities: a Deputy Clerk of Court for Dickinson County, an accounts receivable clerk for Hygrade Foods, a head secretary for Dekalb Ag Research, a personal line secretary for Northwest Insurance & Real Estate and Homeland Insurance all in Storm Lake, IA and a district agent for Prudential Insurance Co. in Sioux City, Ia.
On October 10, 1985, Marylin married Orville Tronson in Sioux City, IA. Following their marriage, she was a real estate agent for Century 21 and Homeland Realty in Sioux City. She retired in 1992 and moved to Spencer in 1996. Marylin was artistic and enjoyed painting, reading, cooking, listening to music and debating politics. She also had a playful personality and loved to spend time with family and friends. She was a member of the Toastmasters and United Methodist Church while she was in Storm Lake.
Marylin passed away at the Spencer Hospital on November 8, 2008, at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Orville of Spencer, IA; three daughters: Sandra Sievers-Meighan of Storm Lake, IA, Susan Snater and her husband, Mike of Winona, MN and Sharon Baker and her husband, Mike of Anchorage, AK; one son, Steve Sievers and his wife, Rebecca of Mt. Carmel, IL; her step-daughter, Debra Phelan and her husband, Randy of Montana; two step-sons: Steve Tronson and his wife, Jeanne of Goodyear, AZ and Jeffrey Tronson of Sioux City, IA; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Carole Meyers and her husband, Virgil of Willmar, MN and Gladys Doyne and her husband, Mark of Clearwater, FL; two brothers: Conrad Fink and his wife, Monica of Los Alamos, NM and Ted Fink of Arlington TX; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00a.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
