Myra Rose Currans-Partridge

Myra Currans-Partridge was born April 27, 1968, to Paul and Sheila (Blum) Currans, in Spencer, Iowa. Myra attended Sacred Heart School, and Spencer High School, graduating in 1986. Myra married Roger Partridge on May 20,1989, at the Clay County Courthouse, attended by Donald Duck. Myra was an artistic soul, expressing herself through jewelry making, stamping, music, and theatre. A truly gifted actor and musician, Myra took part in myriad theatre productions, starting at a young age at Spencer Community theatre, throughout high school, and for the rest of her too short life. A passionate animal lover, Myra parented several dogs, and took in rescue dogs as well. Myra passed away peacefully after a heroic battle against cancer, on December 10, 2015, at Spencer Municipal Hospital, where she was born. Myra is survived by her husband Roger, their dog Riley, Roger's brothers and families, Myra's parents, and her four siblings: Colleen (Paul) Bush, Pat (Sandra) Currans, Carol (Steve) Metz, and Brenda (Rob Den Hartog) Currans, as well as 9 nephews and 2 nieces.
