Nadene Rozan Gerke

Nadene Rozan Kracht Gerke, the daughter of Richard and Iris Goettsche Kracht was born October 14, 1949 in Cherokee, IA. Her childhood years were spent in Peterson where she received her education, graduating from Sioux Valley High School in Peterson and Linn Grove, in 1967. She then went on to business school in Mankato, MN. Nadene married Willard Gerke on February 20, 1971, at St. John's Church in Peterson. To this union two children were born Randy and Robyn. She was a member of St. John's Church and Trinity Lutheran in Moville. Nadene enjoyed dancing, reading, and had a love for animals. She also enjoyed road trips, roller blading, walks along the lake, drawing, writing, and especially spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, and one sister, Charlotte Kracht. Left to cherish her memory is a son, Randy Gerke, a daughter Robyn Gerke, both of Chandler, AZ, her mother Iris Kracht of Peterson, IA, two sisters, Marlene Kucera of Cedar Falls, IA and Maxine Kracht Butler, of Spirit Lake, IA, other relatives and many friends.
