Nancy Dee Garrett

Nancy Dee Garrett, of Baltimore, MD, most recently residing with her daughter in Spencer, IA, died October, 14, 2023. She was 62 years old.

Nancy was born May 4, 1961, to William and Helen Garrett. She is survived by her siblings: Carolyn & Donald Chambers, Judith and Barry Scheitlin, and Angela Burns.  She is also survived by her children, Jennifer and William Bennett and two grandchildren, Jackson and Logan Bennett.  Her extended family includes nine nieces and nephews and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Nancy embraced an adventurous spirit at an early age.  After graduating from Lansdowne High School, Nancy found a lifelong career and passion in personal injury law and spent more than 30 years with Saiontz & Kirk law firm.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, enjoying wildlife, strolling along Siesta Key beach in Florida, spending time travelling with her daughter and loving her grandsons.  

Nancy’s spirit is returned to her Father in Heaven and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers to the family, Nancy requested that donations are made, in her honor, to Caring About the Strays of Miami, FL.
