Norman Clarence Johnson

Norman Clarence Johnson, the son of Clarence and Edith Rankin Johnson, was born October 14, 1941 in Slayton, MN. His childhood years were spent in the Slayton area. He attended school in Tracy, MN. Norman married Joyce Holl on April 20, 1963 in Currie, MN. They moved to Milford, IA in 1976 where they continued farming. Norman's greatest joy was farming. He also enjoyed gardening, planting trees, listening to country music, tractors, helping neighbors, traveling and spending time with family. Norman passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law Allen "Butch" Miller. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joyce of Milford, IA; 3 sons, Curt (Shelly) Johnson of Spencer, IA, Terry (Sally) Johnson of Walland, TN, and Jeff Johnson of Terril, IA; 5 grandchildren, Alex (Mackenzie) Johnson, Austin Johnson, and Adam Johnson, all of Spencer, IA, Corey Johnson of Spirit Lake, IA, and Shayla Johnson of Milford, IA; one brother Eleen Johnson of Slayton, MN; 3 sisters, Marie (David) Bauer of Garvin, MN, Jeanette Miller of Lake Wilson, MN, and Jean (Raymond) Reinholdt of Ruthton, MN; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 9, at the Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer.

VISITATION

INTERMENT
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
