Ofelia A. Sennert

October 16, 1957 — January 8, 2007

Ofelia A. Sandajan Sennert, the daughter of Tismome and Teefista Arceo Sandajan, was born October 16, 1957 in Taney Rizal, Phillipines. Her childhood years were spent in the Phillipines. Ofelia married James Sennert on July 20, 1985 in Taney Rizal, Phillipines. Following their marriage, they moved to Spencer in 1987. She became an American citizen in 1992. Ofelia worked for two years at a packing plant in Hartley, Iowa. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. She had been a resident of St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer for the past few years. Ofelia passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa on Monday, January 8, 2007 at the age of 49. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, James Sennert of Spencer; her mother, Teefista Sandajan of Aiabel Cogonal Sarangani Providence, Phillipines; one son, Lester Earl Sennert II of Spencer; one daughter, Ayla Deloris Sennert of Spencer; 10 brothers and sisters including: Mary "Janet" Sandajan of the Phillipines; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 16, 2006, at Warner Chapel in Spencer.
