Olivia Marie Strang, the daughter of Rod and Roseanna Ducharme, was born November 8, 1931 in St. Ambrose, Manitoba, Canada, and worked for her dad in the Green Head Lodge where she met Lawrence Strang. She was united in marriage to Lawrence on September 5, 1954 in McDonald, Manitoba, Canada. They raised their family in Everly, Iowa. She was a member of the Rosary Society at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Everly for many years. She also enjoyed cheering for the Everly girls' basketball team. She was also a member of the band parents while her children attended band through their school years.
She passed away at the Good Samaritan Home in Jackson, MN on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the age of 84. Preceding her in death were her parents; Rod and Roseanna Ducharme; four brothers: Norman, Bryan, Ted, Leo; one sister, Nora; her husband, Lawrence in 1988 and one daughter, Donna Oeltjenbruns in 2009.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Larry Rod and his wife, Marcella Strang of Spencer, IA and Barry Dean of Miami, FL; two daughters: Mina Wolf of Tulsa, OK and Peggy Lee and her husband, Tim Roskens of Spencer, IA; 18 grandchildren; many great grandkids as well as many other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.

A Parish Rosary will be held 1:30 P.M., Sunday and visitation will be held from 2 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday afternoon all at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
