Oscar Altamirano Pavon, the son of Aurora Altamirano, was born on August 6, 1971 in Tierra Blanca, Veracruz. He received his early education in Tierra Blanca and was brought up by his mother and his grandfather, Genaro Altamirano.
Oscar and Virginia Flores Peńa were united in Holy Matrimony. The couple was blessed with a son, Oscar Altamirano Flores. Oscar brought his family to Spencer four years ago with the dream of giving his family a good life. While living in Spencer, Oscar was a very dedicated worker self-employed in the poultry business for the last four years, working alongside his family.
Oscar passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 near Albert Lea, MN as the result of a van accident. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Paulina Pavon Castillo.
Oscar is survived by his mother, Aurora Altamirano of Spencer; his wife, Virginia Flores Peńa and his son, Oscar Altamirano Flores both of Spencer; his brother, Rogelio Martinez Altamirano and his wife, Lidia Castillo of Spencer and sisters, Maria de los Angeles Martinez Altamirano and her husband, Roman Rivera of Tierra Blanca and Dora Maria Altamirano and her husband, Mauro Jimenez of Spencer; his grandfather, Genaro Altamirano; many nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 5:00 P.M., Friday, November 14, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.
A Catholic Vigil service will be held 6:00 P.M., Thursday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
