Pane Lovan, 48 of Spencer, Iowa, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2017. He was born on February 24, 1969, in Vientiane, Laos, the son of Phin Lovan and Luong thi An, and Vinh and Beng Lovan.
Pane was a social person, free spirited and enjoyed spending time with many family and friends. He will be remembered for his humorous nature and being a loyal friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His hobbies were fishing, bowling, singing karaoke, and enjoyed cooking for others.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sponsors: Carmen, Gary and Thomas Edler of Florida; ex-wife, Peige Lovan of Des Moines, IA; two sisters, May (Tay Lo) of Spencer, IA, and Monica Lovan (Jesse Baccam) of Minnesota; eight brothers and sisters in France, Meuy, Vien (Chanthaboune), Bang (Thieg), Bing (Heng), Bovane (Ae), Liane (Saisunee) Daeng, Seuy (To’uai); 12 nephews; 14 nieces in France, and two nieces, Jinisa and Nya Lo in Spencer, IA.
Pane was preceded in death by his father, Phin Lovan; Lone Lovan, Teu Lovan, Inh Lovan, and Tieng Lovan.
