Patricia "Patti" Ilene Anderson, the daughter of LeRoy "Roy" and Elva "Sally" (Putnam) Railsback, was born November 27, 1935, in Garner, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Garner where she received her education, graduating from Garner High School. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star in high school.
Patti married Larry Anderson on September 5, 1954, in Garner, Iowa. After their marriage, they lived in Garner where she worked at Northwestern Bell. They later moved to Mason City and Bettendorf before moving to Spencer, Iowa, where she worked at Witco Corporation until her retirement in 1997. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, playing cards, spending time with her grandkids, fashion, the Iowa Hawkeyes, dancing and singing socially, and traveling all over the world. Patti was an American History buff and loved genealogy.
She passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the age of 81. Patti was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Dean and Bob Railsback; and son-in-law, Chuck Fisher.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Anderson of Spencer; her daughter, Brenda (Brad) Zelinsky of Spencer, IA; two sons: Jay (Shelley) Anderson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and Todd (Nataliia) Anderson of Palm Beach, FL; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Bredlow of Algona, IA; several nieces and nephews; her life-long friends, Nancy and George Turner of Des Moines, IA; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer.
