Patricia 'Patt' Woods

January 7, 1931 — April 14, 2017

Patricia A. 'Patt' Woods, was born January 7, 1931 in California. Her childhood years were spent in California, where she received her early education. Patt's family later moved to Spencer, Iowa when she was 16 and she continued her education, graduating from Spencer High School. Patt married Bobby Lyle Woods on October 1, 1950. After their marriage, they lived in Spencer, where she worked at home and raised her family. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Spencer. Patt was also a member of the YMCA and the Spencer Golf and Country Club in Spencer. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge and cooking. Patt passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob on October 6, 2000 and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by two sons: Ronald Woods of Emmetsburg, IA and Michael (Marne) Woods of West Des Moines, IA and one daughter, Anne of Spirit Lake, IA. The family wants to give a special thank you to all of Patt's caregivers at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer.
