Paul Zieman

January 30, 1923 — February 4, 2017

Paul Byron Zieman, son of E.W. and Alma Kromminga Zieman, was born January 30th, 1923 near Royal, IA. His Childhood years were spent in the Royal area, where he received his early education. After graduating from Royal High School, he attended school in California for a year. Paul married Louise Gross Oct. 5, 1940 in Trenton, Missouri. They farmed near royal for over 50 years. Paul was a good farmer and loved the land. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Royal. He served on the board of the Royal telephone Company. Paul passed away at Pleasant Hill, MO on 2-4-17 at the age of 94. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise, his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, one son Rick, and one daughter Pam. Paul is survived by his daughter, Jill Zieman Branch, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

SERVICES

Funeral services will take place 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 11, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
