Phyllis Jean Bielfeldt, the daughter of James Hugh and Inez Pauline (Bakke) Fraser, was born November 28, 1924 in Greenville, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Greenville, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Greenville Consolidated Schools in 1942.
Phyllis married Leland Evans on May 30, 1942. After their marriage, they lived in Spencer, where she worked at Spencer Bottle Co. She later was employed at Lakes Propane for 25 years and was an owner and manager for 10 years.
Phyllis married Wilbert Bielfeldt on July 4, 1987 in Terril, IA. She was a member of the Terril Immanuel Lutheran Church. Phyllis was also a member of the Business and Professional Women and the Farm Bureau. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and golfing.
She passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the age of 95. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thomas Fraser and one sister, Mary Fairchild.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wilbert Bielfeldt of Ruthven; one son, Dennis Evans (Diane) of New Caney, Texas; one daughter, Cynthia and her husband, Greg Foote of Spencer, IA; 1 stepson, Dennis Bielfeldt and his wife, Suzanne of Brookings, SD; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchild; one sister, Ruth Thurston of Spencer; 1 grandfurbaby; other relatives and friends.
