Randall Guerttman

Randall R. "Randy" Guerttman, the son of Royal and Arlene Goff Guerttman, was born July 22, 1950 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Spencer, where he received his education, graduating from Spencer High School. Following high school, he enrolled at Spencer School of Business for two years. He entered the military and served with the U.S. Navy from January of 1971, until his honorable discharge in January of 1975. Following his discharge, he attended Iowa Lakes Community College for one year. Randy married Gloria Hinz on September 9, 1972 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they lived in Spencer. For the past 22 years, Randy has worked as Parts Manager for Asher Motors in Spencer. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. Randy was also a member of Glen Pedersen Post #1 of the American Legion in Spencer. Randy passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the age of 56. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gloria of Spencer; four sons: Kevin of Spencer, Bryan of Spencer, Matthew of Des Moines, IA and Justin of Spencer; three grandchildren: Kyle, Kayden and Brennan; one brother, Terry and his wife, Pat of Rapid City, SD; one sister, Sandra Quist of Marion, IA; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer.

VISITATION
Visitation will begin 3:00 P.M., Thursday, with the family present from 6 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

INTERMENT
Riverside Cemetery Spencer, Iowa A military flag presentation will be conducted by Glen Pedersen Post #1 - American Legion following the graveside services.
