Randy Lee Weiland

     Randy Lee Weiland, son of Frank and Lola (Brummer) Weiland, was born December 16th, 1953, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He received his education in Peterson and Linn Grove, graduating from Sioux Valley High School in 1972. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church.

     Randy spent his entire lifetime in the Linn Grove area, where he enjoyed gardening and socializing with friends. He was employed with the First Coop Association most of his adult life, retiring from his job as Linn Grove Branch Manager after 35 years on January 1st, 2017.

     Randy passed away at Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer, Iowa, on Thursday, October 4th, 2018, at the age of 64.

     He is survived by his two biological children:  Luke Zalaznik (Lisa), of Peterson, Iowa, and Jessica (Maske) Ruddell (Matt), of Nunn, Colorado; his grandchildren: Mackenzie Magnan, Gabe Hibbert, Jennasi Fall, and Ryder Ruddell; his mother, Lola (Weiland) Brock, of Storm Lake, Iowa; his sisters: Connie (Bill) Wetherell, of Whiting, Iowa, and Julie (Ron) Anderson, of Aurelia, Iowa; his brother, Allen (Debbie) Weiland, of Aurelia, Iowa; and many other extended family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Weiland; his father, Frank Weiland; and his brother, Dennis Weiland.
