Raymond George Rinken

May 20, 1952 — October 18, 2011

Raymond "Grizz" George Rinken the son of Meinert and Mary Lou Parsons Rinken, was born on May 20, 1952, in Spencer, IA. Ray spent his adult life in Spencer, Iowa working for Shine Brothers. Ray enjoyed working and riding motorcycles. Ray also enjoyed spending time with friends and family as well as playing games on his computer. Ray passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the age of 59. Those at his bedside were his four children: Darcy, Amber, Derek, and Becky. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Rinken and his father, Meinert Rinken, and one brother, Gene Rinken. Ray is survived by four children and 8 grandchildren: Darcy and Casey Teepe and their five children: Saige, Corbin, Baker, Ryzer and Journye of Linn Grove, Iowa, Amber Sohl and her two children: CheyAnn and Daisia from Spencer, IA, Derick Thomas and his son, Cooper from Hartley, IA and Becky Thomas from Emmetsburg, IA; two brothers: Corkey (Coleen) Rinken of Madison, WI and Kelly Rinken of Spencer, IA; one sister, Jacquline (David) Meyers of Vero Beach, FL; his beloved pet dog, Mollie and numerous other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Faith Pentecostal Church in Spencer.
