Rebecca "Beckie" Layne Campbell

Rebecca “Beckie” Layne Campbell, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Margaret (Cobbs) Lutes, was born on March 21, 1957, in Bloomington, IL. At a young age her family moved to Spirit Lake where she finished her schooling.

 On January 31, 1972, Beckie married Jack Campbell in Spencer, IA. Throughout Beckie’s life she worked several jobs. She was a bartender for many years, worked at Eatons for over 5 years and then worked as the business manager for Campbell Tree Service.

 Beckie was a member of the Eagles Club for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. In her younger years she thrived on throwing get-togethers from friends and family. Beckie loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She would often watch William and Brody when they were young. Beckie passed away on February 8, 2025, at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Steven Lutes and her sister, Vicky Bell.

 Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jack Campbell of Spencer, IA; her son, Rocky Campbell and his wife, Angie of Everly, IA and their children: Tori Campbell, William Sik and Brody Campbell, her son, Justin Campbell and his wife, Katie of Spencer and their four children; other relatives and many friends.
