Renee Quist Lyman

Renee Lynette Quist Lyman, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Faulkner) Quist was born November 11, 1969 in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer area where she attended school, graduating from Spencer High School in 1987. Renee attended ABI in Minneapolis, MN and worked as a nanny before returning to Spencer. She liked camping, reading, writing short poems, listening to music, and watching movies. She enjoyed her jobs at KFC and Polaris, but her greatest joy was spending time with family. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Marathon, IA. Renee passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 44. She was preceded in death by an infant child; her father, Robert; two brothers, Robert and Steve; her grandparents; one niece; and one brother-in-law, Burroughs Conover. Left to cherish her memory are four daughters: Shaniese of Spencer, IA, Tessa of Storm Lake, IA, Alexandria and Olivia, both of Spencer, IA; her mother, Marjorie of Spencer, IA; three sisters: DeAnn (Jim) Johnson of Royal, IA, Sandra Conover of Spencer, IA, Barbara (Timothy) Bates of Spencer, IA; one sister-in-law Glenda Quist; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
