William H. Brott, son of Dale and Edith Clark Brott, was born February 24, 1926, in Ruthven, Iowa.
William received his education in country schools and Ruthven High School. As a youth, he milked cows at a nearby farm for $1 a day. He left Iowa to attend Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated and was awarded a Bachelor of Theology degree.
William met Glenna Tanner in their first year at ABI and they were married on September 27, 1947. William and Glenna were blessed with 6 children over 13 years: Carol, David, Richard, Janice, Julie and Daniel.
William was ordained in 1954 in St. Paul, Minnesota by Rev. S. G. Norris and began his ministry of 55 years:

� Marathon, Iowa (10 years)
� Omaha, Nebraska (2 years under Rev. Jerry Tiller)
� Sioux Falls, South Dakota (6 years)
� Pendleton, Oregon (2 years)

� Scottsbluff, Nebraska (12 years)
He served in various official UPC capacities:
� District Superintendent of Nebraska (2 terms)
� District Secretary of Nebraska District (21 years)
� Home Missions Director of Nebraska
� Sectional Presbyter of Nebraska
William passed away at his childhood home in Ruthven, IA on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Glenna; sisters Mary, Nina, Velma; and brother, Max.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Carol (Dan) Koenig of Oregon City, Oregon; David (Kathy) Brott of Bellevue, Nebraska; Richard (Karen) Brott of Vancouver, Washington; Janice (Jeffrey) Neihart of Blackfoot, Idaho; Julie (Mark) Powell of Bellevue, Nebraska; Daniel (MeLisa) Brott of Gering, Nebraska; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Mooney of Greenfield, Indiana; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Thursday, June 11, at Faith Pentecostal Church in Spencer.
