Robert 'Bob' Eugene Theesfeld

August 10, 1949 — December 2, 2012

Robert "Bob" Eugene Theesfeld, the son of Harold and Thelma Spear Theesfeld was born August 10, 1949, in Estherville, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Curlew area where he graduated from Mallard High School in 1967. After graduation, Bob attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, IA. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 23, 1970, and served until his Honorable Discharge on December 17, 1971 Bob enjoyed riding motorcycle, working on cars, going to concerts and wintering in Arizona. His main enjoyment was spending time with his family, church family and friends. Bob passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Spencer Hospital, at the age of 63. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Dennis Theesfeld; and one sister, Maggie Joynt. Left to cherish his memory are his one sister, Catherine (John) Kirschbaum of Spencer, IA; one brother, Gerald (Patricia) Theesfeld of Emmetsburg, IA; 12 nephews; 3 nieces; special friend, Marti Rosacker of Ruthven, IA; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will take place 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 6 at Living Word Church in Spencer.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, December 5, starting at 3:00 P.M., with family present from 5-8:00 P.M. at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
