Robert Carpenter

Robert Dale Carpenter, the son of George Nicholas and Dorothy Helen Morris Carpenter, was born October 19, 1931 in Redfield, Iowa. 

     Robert worked many years for Echo Plus in Spirit Lake, Iowa and eventually retired.  He lived most of his life in Lake Park, Iowa.  Robert always enjoyed holidays and watching ball games with his family.  He also enjoyed watching and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.  Most of all, Robert loved visits from family and his nieces and nephews along with his great nieces, Katrina and Jocelyn.

     Robert passed away on October 30, 2017 at Pearl Valley Nursing Home in Lake Park at the age of 86.  He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Alvin and Garry Carpenter; one sister, Blanche Hunt; niece, Julie Carpenter and nephew, Jim Hunt.

     He is survived by his brothers: Roger Carpenter of Spencer and Norman Carpenter of Milford; nephews: Chris Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter and Steve Hunt; nieces: Amy Carpenter, Crystal Carpenter and Lisa Busswitz; other relatives and friends.
