Robert Elmo (Bob) Langfeldt, 58, of Fountain, Colorado, died suddenly Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at his home.
Bob was born November 12, 1949, in Estherville, Iowa, the son of Elmo and Elvera (Haberman) Langfeldt. He was raised in the Estherville and Webb, Iowa, areas. He attended elementary school in Webb and graduated from South Clay Community School in Gillett Grove, Iowa, in 1967. He then attended Iowa Lakes Community College.
In June, 1972, he was united in marriage to Kay Jobe in Spencer, Iowa. They were blessed with one child, Heather.
During his lifetime he resided in the Spencer, Spirit Lake and Storm Lake, Iowa areas. He worked for various companies as a salesman for many years. During the early 1980's he worked and resided in Tokyo, Japan. In the latter 1980's he moved to the Denver, Colorado, area where he operated his own various business interests. At the time of his death, he was employed as a security guard in the Colorado Springs, Colorado, area.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Mrs. Troy) Jenks of Des Moines, Iowa, his grandchildren, Laurel and Lucas Jenks, a sister Elaine Coon of Sioux City, Iowa, a niece, Jonna Langfeldt of Sioux City.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
