Robert William Tesch the son of Raymond and Nola (Hansen) Tesch was born on October 6, 1936, on the family farm south of Everly. He was raised on the farm and attended the Everly Schools and graduated from Everly High School in 1955.
Robert married Marlis Ihnen on April 7, 1957, at the Hope Lutheran Church in Everly. Following their marriage, the couple lived near Everly and farmed, and in 1966 they moved to the Spencer/Langdon area and continued to farm. In 1982 they moved back to Everly and Robert started working for Witco and then Eatons until his retirement. Robert was a lifetime member of Hope Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Clay County Sno Broncs snowmobile club. He enjoyed restoring old jeeps and tractors. The most important thing to Robert was his family. He loved to spend time and have a lot of fun with his family. He also had a great sense of humor.
On Sunday, January 31, 2016 Robert passed away at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Donna Schoelerman and her husband, Merlyn; sister-in-law, Bonnie Fell; his nephews: Mark Fell and Randy Schoelerman.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marlis of Everly; his son, Craig and friend, Joan Nehman of Everly; his two daughters: Cindy Sonius and her husband, Jim of Spencer and Carrie Tesch and family friend, Beth Conroy of Mitchell, SD; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; his two brothers: Orlyn and his wife, Leslie of Hartley and Arvin and his wife, Patty of Everly; one sister, Debbie Vagle of Trimont, MN; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday February 4, at the Hope Lutheran Church in Everly.

VISITATION
Visitation will be open after 12noon on Wednesday, with the family present from 5:00 -7:00P.M., Wednesday evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Everly.
