Robert William Molnar

Robert William Molnar, the son of Edward and Frances (Viancourt) Molnar, was born May 29, 1965, in Cleveland, OH. His childhood years were spent in Lodi, OH, where he attended the Cloverleaf School District. Following graduation from high school, Robert joined the Navy. On June 25, 1991, Robert was united in marriage to Penny S. Hobson (Pfaff) in Lodi, OH. He lived in Alaska before moving to Peterson, IA. Bob worked as a machinist and had most recently worked for Clay Regional Water. Robert was a member of the Boy Scouts Of America #119 in Peterson. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, but most of all he loved being around his family and friends. On November 30, 2007, Robert passed away following an extended illness at his home in Peterson at the age of 42. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edward John Molnar. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Penny Molnar, of Peterson, IA; his three children: Wendy Prime of Des Moines, IA, Aaron Hobson of Laurens, Zachary Molnar, of Peterson, IA; two sisters: Lynn (Doug) Underwood of Westfield, OH, Ann Brinker of Lodi, OH; one brother, Dave (Joy) Molnar of Medina, OH; parents Edward and Frances Molnar of Lodi, OH; sister-in-law, Wendy Baker; loving uncle of Daniel, Brandon, Jordan, Jacob, Jes, Larry, Heather, and Morgan, all of Ohio, and Catherine and Mikka of Peterson, IA; loving son-in-law of Gary and Ruth Pfaff of Peterson, IA; grandfather of Adrianna of Everly, IA; other relatives and many friends.
