In Loving Memory of Roberta “Bobbi” Beck
Roberta “Bobbi” Beck was the daughter of Robert and Pearl Perkins Marble, Bobbi was born on September 29, 1951 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer area, where she attended school.
Bobbi grew up to work at multiple facilities, mainly as a CNA, including working in nursing homes and state care facilities for the disabled. She dedicated herself to her work until multiple health challenges, including the discovery of a brain aneurysm, led her to step away. From that time on she was a dedicated stay at home mom and grandmother.
It was through the challenges and experiences that Bobbi forged a spirit of unbreakable tenacity.
She poured herself into her family, creating a foundation of love that will endure long after her passing. Bobbi was a mother, sister, and friend who taught us that love can be both tender and fierce. She gave her all to those fortunate enough to know her, including her opinions, and her love remains woven into the lives she touched.
She enjoyed crafting, sewing, spending time with family, especially her grandkids, and of course her cigs and Mountain Dew.
Despite the many storms she weathered, her joy for life never dimmed. She found beauty in simple things. She lived not for herself but for the people she loved, and her legacy will be one lived through her children and grandchildren.
Bobbi, a woman of remarkable strength and boundless love, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024 at the age of 73 at the Ruthven Community Care Center. Bobbi is survived by her children; Michelle Brown, Michael Brown, Kim (Seth) Small, and Tyler Kruse. Her 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her sisters Nancy Trierweiler and Donna Paulton. As well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pearl Perkins Marble; her brother, Donald Marble; and her sisters Beverly Sanders and Doris Bliek.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the love and memories she left behind.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
