Roger G Struve

Roger G. Struve, the son of Gordon and Elaine (Steinbeck) Struve was born June 7, 1953 in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Rossie, IA area and he attended Clay Central School, graduating in 1971.

Roger enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until his Honorable Discharge. He worked as a bartender and the Rossie Elevator. He married Annette Pinker on December 1, 1991 in Rossie, IA. He enjoyed listening to music, playing darts, photography, and spending time with friends and family.

Roger passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Spencer Post Acute Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, Monte, and one sister, Rhonda.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Sondra Dolphin (David Koch) of Hartley, IA; one niece, Jessica (Neil) Allen of Land O’ Lakes, FL; one nephew, Jake (Raycha) Dobbins of Wesley Chapel, FL; 2 great-nieces, Sophia and Skylar Allen; 5 great-nephews, Landon Allen, Ethan & Issac Dobbins, and Joel & Luis Cardona; other relatives; and many friends.
