Roseann Barger

July 21, 1930 — August 3, 2015

Roseann was born in Northfield, MN, on July 21, 1930 to Enoch and Ethyl (Kucker) Madsen. She moved with her family early in her childhood to Sioux City, IA, where she spent her life until 2008 when she moved to Spencer, IA. Roseann married the love of her life, Robert Barger on July 26, 1949. Together they raised 3 children. Rosie, as she was called, was preceded in death by her husband, Bob. She is survived by her three children; Melinda Brienzo, Barbara Dean (Alan) and Marc Barger (Rosie); 5 grandchildren, Matt Brienzo, Megan Brienzo, Rachael Loyd, Anna Dean and Andrew Dean; one great grandson, Jacob Brienzo and many, many extended family members. Rosie was loved by everyone! She did not hesitate to tell her family and friends "I love you", even until her last days at the nursing home in Spencer. She loved Jesus and we are comforted to know that she is rejoicing to be in heaven with all of her loved ones who went before her. Roseann Barger passed on to spend eternity in heaven on August 3, 2015.

SERVICES

There will be a Celebration of Life held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 8, at the Living Word Church in Spencer.
