Rosella "Rosie" Minnie Senne, the daughter of Ernest and Viola (Dickman) Meyer, was born April 8, 1934 in Welcome, MN. Her childhood years were spent in Sherburn, MN, where she received her education in country schools and later graduated from Sherburn High School in 1952. After graduation, she worked as a bookkeeper for Johnson Clothing Store for 1� years.
Rosie married Lloyd Senne on February 21, 1954, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome, MN. Following their marriage, they farmed northwest of Fairmont for 6 � years. In 1960, they moved to Spencer, IA, where she continued raising her family while working at Electrolux part-time for many years. Rosie dearly loved watching little kids and worked in childcare service for 25 years. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer. Rosie enjoyed bowling, sewing, quilting and canning.
Rosella passed away at her home in Spencer, IA on Friday, December 10, 2010, at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kathy Jean Lundstrom, and a brother, Martin Meyer.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lloyd, of Spencer; one son, James Lee Senne of Rochester, MN; three brothers: Glenn Meyer of Skyler, NE, Clifford Meyer and wife, Kathy of Mapleton, MN and Fred Meyer and wife, Mary of Windom, MN; one sister, Shirley Voigt and husband, Lowell of Grove City, MN; 6 grandchildren: Joseph, Kyle, Tom and Aaron Senne, Abby and Katie Lundstrom; one son-in-law, Randy Lundstrom of Ames, IA; other relatives and many friends.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, or Spencer Hospital.
