Ruby LeClair, the daughter of Pearly and Abbie Goyette Morrow, was born on May 14, 1908 on a farm near Royal, Iowa. She received her early education from Country Schools and then graduated from the Royal High School in 1926.
On October 10, 1928, Ruby married Leo LeClair in Royal, Iowa. The first three years of their marriage were spent in Spencer, were she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They then moved to a farm in the Royal area in 1932. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, member of the Altar Society and a Catechism Teacher for several years. They then moved back to Spencer in 1980.
Ruby passed away on April 14, 2006 at the Longhouse Residence in Spencer, Iowa at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo on February 27, 1987; one infant sister, Beulah; three brothers: Leo, Dale and Virgil and one great grandson, Benjamin.
She is survived by her five children: Phyllis, Mrs. Raymond Curran of Galena, IL, Patricia, Mrs. Raymond Harrington of Omaha, NE, Judith, Mrs. William Thompson of Ames, IA, Leo "Junior" and his wife, Carol LeClair of Naperville, IL and James LeClair of LeMars, IA; eleven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Cleone, Mrs. Fred Schmidt of Spirit Lake, IA and Lorene "Gunnie" Brower of Spencer, IA; a sister-in-law, Shirley Morrow of Everly, IA; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family designates Memorials to Hospice of Northwest Iowa.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer with Father Roger Linnan officiating

VISITATION
Visitation will begin 11:00 a.m., Monday with the family present 4 - 8:00 p.m. A vigil service will be held 7:30 Monday evening at the Warner Chapel.
