Sally Lorraine Martwick

Sally Lorraine Martwick, the daughter of Burris and Hazel Leto Patrick, was born June 8, 1943 in Spencer, Iowa. Sally grew up in Peterson where she received her early education and graduated from the Peterson High School. On July 5, 1961, Sally married Wally Fred Martwick in Vici, OK. Following their marriage, they lived in several states and eventually returning to Iowa in 1998, making their home in Spencer. For several years, Sally was a security guard during the Clay County Fair and had also worked as a waitress for Julie's Diner. Most recently, she worked for Monsanto. In her spare time, Sally enjoyed fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles, canning and visiting her family. Sally passed away on February 25, 2014 at her home in Spencer at the age of 70. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry and Dick, sister, Louise; grandson, Kalob Baker; son-in-law, Kenny Baker, Jr. and brother-in-law, Andy Bents. She is survived by her husband, Wally of Spencer; son, Zac (Ellen) Martwick of TX; daughter, Yolanda Baker of KS; step-sons: Mark (Barb) Martwick of MO, Mack (Callie) Martwick of MI and Doug Martwick of MN; step-daughter, Cheryl Stratton of MD; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Dwight (Robin) Patrick of IA, Barb Bents of IA, Dee (Mike) Creason of MO, Lois (Jim) Nelson of IA, Janet (Jon) Anderson of IA, Steve (Laurie) Patrick of IA and Joanne (Steve) Lohr of IA; her step-mother, Alice Patrick of IA; other relatives and friends.
