Sally A. Peck-Westling, the daughter of Thomas and Agnes Malloy King, was born October 23, 1934 in Lawler, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Lawler where she received her early education and graduated from the Lawler High School.
Sally married Jack Peck on March 5, 1955, in Lawler, Iowa. Throughout most of their married life they made their home in the Everly community. Sally owned and operated Sally's Beauty Shop for several years in Everly. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church while living in Everly and presently a member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milford.
Sally married ValGene Westling on July 18, 1997 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Everly. Following their marriage, they made their home in Wahpeton, Iowa and wintered at New Port Richey, FL. Sally enjoyed bridge, reading and especially playing golf.
Sally passed away on June 12, 2009, at the Milford Nursing Center in Milford, Iowa at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jack on November 15, 1994; her brother, James King; two sisters: Mary Swenson and Helen Pickering.
She is survived by her husband, Val Westling of Wahpeton; son, Dr. Eugene Peck and his wife, Dr. Teresa Peck of Galesburg, IL; two grandsons: Tony and Sean; granddaughter, Nikki; one brother, Donald and his wife, Myrna King of New Hampton, IA; sister, Patricia Hageman of Shell Rock, IA; three step-daughters: Julie Rolstad (Scott) of Parksville, MO, Nancy Knecht (Micheal) of Algona, IA and Amy Holland (Ronnie) of Mason City, IA; 9 step-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milford, Iowa.
