Sandra Jo Quist-Conover

November 11, 1959 — August 1, 2015

Sandra Jo Quist Conover, the daughter of Robert Sr. and Marge (Faulkner) Quist was born November 11, 1959, in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer area where she received her education before attending Ellsworth Community College. Sandra married Burroughs Conover on July 25, 1992, in Spencer, IA. Sandra worked at Maurer Manufacturing, managed Little Sioux Feeder Pigs in Sioux Rapids, IA, and had a number of other jobs. She opened Lakes Redemption Center, which she owned and operated. She enjoyed camping, spending time with her nieces and nephews, computers, motorcycles, and playing cards. Sandra passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 55. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burroughs; her father Robert, Sr.; two brothers, Robert Jr. and Steven; one sister, Renee Lyman; and her grandparents. Left to cherish her memory are her Mother, Marjorie Quist; two sisters, DeAnne (Jim) Johnson and Barb (Tim) Bates; one sister-in-law, Glenda Quist; nieces and nephews: Shane, Jeremiah, Bonnye, Matt, Zac, Shelby, Shaniese, Tessa, Alex, Olivia, Shane Jr., Madison, James, and Katie; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives; and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will take place 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 4, at Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer.
