Sandra M. Grobe

Sandra Marian Feldhacker-Grobe, the daughter of Gilbert and Theresa (Wubben) Feldhacker was born March 13, 1951, in Milford, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Milford where she attended school. On July 13, 1991, she was united in marriage to her longtime companion Frederick Grobe, in Milford, Iowa. Following her marriage she worked at a couple different nursing homes in the area, but most of all she was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her family. Sandra was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed animals especially her dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits, most of all she loved being around her family and friends. Sandra passed away March 7, 2008 at the Buena Vista Memorial Hospital in Storm Lake, IA, at the age of 56. She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Feldhacker; and her brother-in-law, Rockey Cheevers. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Fred Grobe of Sioux Rapids, IA; two sons: Ron and Dora Hansen of Royal, IA, Fred Grobe and fiance Gina Reynolds of Fort Dodge, IA; one daughter, Kristy (Ben) Place of Spencer, IA; two grandchildren: Sarah Hansen of Royal, IA, Zeke Place of Spencer, IA; father, Gilbert Feldhacker of Milford, IA; three sisters: Linda Cesnik of Rice Lake, WI, Rose Teege of Milford, IA, Sue Cheevers of Spirit Lake, IA; as well as other relatives and many friends.
