Sarah Ann Van Kleek-King

December 28, 1953 — August 10, 2015

Sarah Ann Van Kleek-King, the daughter of Vernon and Alice Van Kleek, was born December 28, 1953 in Emmetsburg, IA. She grew up in Arnolds Park, Iowa and she received her education in the Lake's area, graduating from Spirit Lake High School in 1972. She was a great fish cleaner as she worked with her grandparents, Arthur and Rose Van Kleek at their fish cleaning business in Arnolds Park. She loved pets, especially dogs which she had several over the years. Sarah passed away at her home in Shenandoah, Iowa follow on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; a step sister, Bonnie Merritt and many other relatives. She is survived by a son, Victor (Ann) Ingrim of Shenandoah, IA; a grandson, Joshua Ingrim of Shenandoah; her stepmother, Mazy Van Kleek of Spencer; sisters: Sheila Kassmeier of Spencer and Peggy (Michael) Marx of Rochester, MN; a stepsister, Dixie (Dean) McPhie of St. George, Utah; an uncle, Duane (Phyllis) Van Kleek of Spirit Lake; an aunt, Betty Thomas of Spencer; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Spencer.
