     Scott Clarke Mackey, the son of Robert and Anna (Julif) Mackey was born May 24, 1964 in Storm Lake, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Webb and Gillett Grove, IA area where he attended school, and graduated from South Clay High School in 1982.

     Scott married Donna Merrill on May 24, 1991 in Ruthven, IA. They later divorced. He worked for Simonsen and later Town and Country Disposal. He moved to Royal, IA in 2002. Scott enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, coaching little league and basketball and he especially enjoyed watching his son Caleb play sports. He was an active member and current Elder of Christ The King Church in Spencer, IA. He served as past president of the Congregation.

     Scott passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, IA, at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his mother; 2 aunts, Alice Julif and Gladys McKercher.

     Left to cherish his memory are his son, Caleb Mackey of Spencer, IA; one brother, James Mackey of Spencer, IA; 3 nieces, Rebecca Mackey of Centerville, IA, Nichelle Knapp of Anchorage, AK, and Allison Morris of Milford, IA; one sister, Missy Johanson of Peterson, IA; one uncle, Arnold Julif of Sugarland, TX; mother of his son and close friend, Donna Ott of Spencer, IA; other relatives, and many friends.

     In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Scott's name.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Monday, July 30, at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Spencer.
