Scott Lytle

Scott Alan Lytle passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2024 at the age of 69.

Scott was born May 21st, 1955 to Duane and Sharon (Opsal) Lytle in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He grew up in Keester, MN, Armstrong, IA and Fairmont, MN. Scott completed school until the 11th grade and then joined the Army in 1973 were he finished his schooling and received his diploma. Scott served honorably until his discharge in 1979. 

Scott married Deb (Edwards) Lytle in March 1974, they had 3 children; Rick, Steven and Tanya. They lived in El Paso, TX, Armstrong, IA and Estherville, IA. He worked for Ruan and Pepsi. Scott and Deb divorced in 1988. Scott continued to work for Pepsi. He then met Kim and they were married on May 6th, 1989. They lived in Spencer, IA.

Scott enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycles, truck shows, swap meets, shooting guns, traveling, camping, and spending time with family and friends, as well as playing with his grandkids. He loved all of the family pets they had over the years. Scott drove truck for Fostoria, Midland, Merrill and owned his own trucking company. He worked various other jobs until he became disabled.

Scott is proceeded in death by his father; Duane, step-mom; Marg, brothers; Jeff and Mike. Left to cherish his memory wife; Kim, sister; Cathy (Mark), children; Rick (Cindy), Steven (Brigette), Tanya (Mike), 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He will be deeply missed.
