Sharon Rehan

June 3, 1942 — February 12, 2009

Sharon Virginia Rehan, the daughter of Julius Dale and Lola Virginia (Mayou) Long, was born June 3, 1942, in Fort Dodge, IA. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School. Following her schooling, she moved to Gardner, Illinois until 1977, when she moved to Spencer. Throughout her life, she worked in the retail industry for K-Mart, Shopko and was currently working for Walmart in Spencer. Sharon was known as the "sucker lady" at Walmart. She enjoyed the Chicago Bulls, the Patriots and Nascar's Greg Biffle. Sharon always made sure her children and grandchildren were taken care of and loved. She had made a brave battle with breast cancer for 3 � years until her death. Sharon passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the age of 66. Preceding her in death were her father, Julius Dale Long and a brother, Dale Dean Long. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kristine Rons and her friend, Mike Cowell of Sioux Rapids, IA and Jason Woolery, his wife, Jackie and their children: Grant, Chase, Blake and Cole Woolery all of Humboldt, IA; her mother, Lola Meyerdirk of Cherokee, IA; three sisters: Pat and her husband, Von Kilts of Primghar, IA, Pam and her husband, Nick Graen of Licking, Missouri and Lynn Curtis of Gayville, South Dakota; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, February 16, 2009, at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
