Sherry Cora Schlichte

April 14, 1956 — May 25, 2017

Sherry Cora Schlichte, the daughter of Woody and Verna Meyer Schlichte, was born April 14, 1956 in LeMars, Iowa. She received her early education in Spencer, Iowa. Sherry lived at the Sunshine Center, which later became Hope Haven, most of her life. Sherry was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She also enjoyed bowling, collecting pens of all kinds and enjoyed listening to Country Music. Sherry passed away on May 25, 2017 at the Hawkeye Care Center in Sioux Rapids, Iowa at the age of 61. She is preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Woody and Verna Schlichte of Everly, IA; her brother, Scott Schlichte and his wife, Monica of Everly, IA; her nieces and nephew: Susan (Jim) Sembach and their children: Jaidyn and Baylor of Everly, IA, Amber (Justin) VerHelst and their children: Bailey, Olivia and Mason of Everly, IA, Renee (Jason) Bork and their children: Alexander and Zachary of Sheldon, IA, Scott W. (Kayla) Schlichte and their children: William and Beatrice of Everly, IA; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Warner Funeral Home in Everly.
