Sheryl Ann Galbraith

Sheryl Ann Galbraith, the daughter of William Brink and Barbra Lamb, was born March 25, 1958 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a young child, her family moved to Onawa, Iowa and it was there she received her early education and graduated from the West Monona High School. On April 1, 1976, Sheryl married Larry Mock. To this union, three children were born. Following their marriage, they lived in Onawa and in 1980 they moved to Spencer, Iowa. Sheryl worked at Hy-Vee for 10 years and later at the Iron Horse Motel. On March 20, 2000, Sheryl married Lynn Galbraith. She loved spending time on their farm and especially enjoyed gardening, her flowers and all of her exotic animals and farm animals. Sheryl passed away on September 20, 2007 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 49. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Rolla Brink, Carolyn and Harold Lamb and Clifford Hess; her step-father, Dale Schleisman and one brother, Steven Brink. She is survived by her husband, Lynn Galbraith of Spencer; her daughter and her husband, Jennifer and Jeremy Stoermer of Camp Verde, AZ; two sons: Kevin Mock and Dustin Mock both of Spencer; 4 grandchildren: Mariah and Mason Stoermer, Brayden Mock and Kyleigh Mock; her father, William Brink of Castana, IA; her mother, Barbra Schleisman of Emmetsburg, IA; sister, Sandy Jepsen of Castana, IA; her grandmother, Lois Hess of Onawa, IA; other relatives and friends.
