Shirley Aileen Krile

Shirley Aileen Krile, the daughter of George and Mabel (Britton) Schmidt, was born February 14, 1925, in Spencer, IA. Her early years were spent in Spencer, where she attended and graduated from high school in 1943. Shirley married Paul Krile on May 29, 1949, in Spencer, IA. Shirley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Spencer. She enjoyed decorating and reading, but her biggest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Shirley passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mabel. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul of Spirit Lake, Iowa; 2 sons, Jeff (Missy) Krile of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Doug (Judie) Krile of North Little Rock, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren, Allison, Jack, and Maggie Krile, all of West Des Moines, Iowa, Thane (TR) (Tara) Krile, of Katy, Texas, and Shayla (Bryce) Teater of Little Rock, Arkansas; special friends, Mindy Ross of Milford, Iowa and Kelly Pullen of Spencer, Iowa; her cat, Bootie; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 30, 2010, at the First United Church in Sioux Rapids, IA.
