Shirley Mae Kramme

Shirley Mae Kramme, the daughter of John William and Loretta Frances (Obermann) Mulder, was born January 11, 1928, in Alton, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Sheldon, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Sheldon High School. Shirley married Robert Kramme on February 27, 1949, in Sheldon. Following their marriage they moved to Sutherland where she spent most of her time taking care of her family. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sutherland. Shirley was active in the community, was a member of the Sutherland Legion Auxiliary, Library Auxiliary and the church Circle. Shirley passed away at her home in Sutherland on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son-in-law, Neil Hoffmann. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert of Sutherland; two daughters: Barbara and husband, Alan Giese of River Falls, WI, and Carla Hoffmann of Sheldon, IA; four grandchildren: Kimberly (Erik) Dyste, Kristin (Mark) Johnson, Jessica (Shawn) Broesder and Kurt Hoffmann; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Gary Mulder of Sheldon, IA, and Bill Mulder and wife, Cheryl of Fredricksburg, IA; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
