Stacy Leann Carrillo

Stacy LeAnn Carrillo, the daughter of Joe and Kay (Knudsen) Brackett, was born on July 10, 1965, in Sioux City, Iowa. She was raised and attended school in Sioux City. On October 12, 1984, Stacy married Jose De Jesus Carillo in Sioux City. To this union three children were born: Kayla, Kevin and Kaisha. Stacy spent a few years in Sioux City but has been in Spencer for the last 14 years. Stacy was a homemaker where she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Stacy has been with Richy Lee Harrington the past several years. Stacy enjoyed making crafts, especially snowflakes and putting puzzles together. On Saturday, October 19, 2013, Stacy passed away at the Spencer Hospital surrounded by her family, she was 48. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe her mother, Kay and her sister, Valerie Hunter. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kayla Carrillo and Kevin Clarke of Spencer and their children: Kennedy, Brooke and Adrian, Kevin Carrillo of Montana and Kaisha and David Carrillo-Engelkes of Spencer and their children: Aianna, Aivvin and expecting one on December 2nd; her partner, Richy Lee Harrington of Spencer and his children: Jayme, Jake and his daughter, Lilly; 4 brothers: Vern (Joann) Hunter, Art Hunter, John Rojas and Michael Brackett and all their families; 2 sisters: Dee (Robert) Heise and Jolene (James) Dennis and their families; other relatives and friends.
