Sylvia Ann Kindlespire, the daughter of Thomas Nelson and Ivah May (Day) Wright was born November 13, 1933 in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer area where she attended school. Sylvia married Howard Kindlespire in Jackson, MN on September 16, 1950. She moved to Brigham City, UT, where she graduated from Brigham City High School. They returned to Spencer, until moving to the farm, where she worked as a farm wife.
Sylvia enjoyed farming, gardening, canning foods, sewing, crocheting, cooking, camping, and watching Texas Flip and Move. She especially enjoyed traveling to spend time with family and friends. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Spencer.
Sylvia passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one grandson, Lee Kindlespire.
Left to cherish her memory are her 6 children, Susan (Ron) Robbins of Draper, UT, Kim (Kaye) Kindlespire of Pleasant Grove, UT, Linda (Jeff) Sorensen of Corona, CA, Nancy (Gary) Stephens of Iowa City, IA, Judy (Curtis) Heinrichs of Sibley, IA and Mitch Kindlespire of Mesa, AZ; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 26, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
