Tamara Jo Pullen, the daughter of Merrill and Shirley (Boyle) Schoer, was born on October 16, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa. At the age of nine her family moved to Spencer where she attended and graduated from Spencer High School.
On February 19, 1977, Tami married William "Bill" Pullen in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, she cooked at the White Marlin, the Hotel and St. Luke Lutheran Home. In 1999 she attended Iowa Lakes Community College where she studied to be a dietician, graduating in 2001. Tami enjoyed collecting Disney items and figurines, riding horses, cross-stitching and camping with her family.
Tami passed away at the Spencer Hospital on December 23, 2007 at the age of 50. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill of Spencer, IA; two daughters: Jeni and Jolynn Pullen of Spencer, IA; two grandchildren: Kira and Noah; her father, Merrill Schoer of Spencer, IA; three sisters: Sid and Dave Root of Webster City, IA, Jayne and John Smith of Kansas City, MO and Valerie and Dan Utley of Kansas City, MO; three nieces; three nephews; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be 10:30A.M., Friday, December 28, 2007, at the Hope Reformed Church in Spencer.
