Tanner Kent Meysenburg, the son of Travis Meysenburg and Lisa (Prescott) Zenkovich was born January 25, 1997 in Fairmont, MN. His childhood years were spent in the Armstrong, IA area where he attended school. He moved to Swea City, IA where he worked for Brand FX and then to Cherokee, IA where he was a forklift operator for HyVee’s distribution center.
Tanner enjoyed fishing, working on cars, listening to music, his dogs, 4-wheeling, being outdoors, watching Nebraska Cornhusker football, and especially spending time with his nieces.
Tanner passed away at his home in Spencer, IA on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at the age of 23. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, DiAnn Prescott and Gary Prescott; one aunt, Lori Forstner; and one nephew, Justin Prescott.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lisa (Bob) Zenkovich of Spencer, IA; his father, Travis (Amy) Meysenburg of Armstrong, IA; 2 sisters, Jayme (Jason) Baily of Ocala, FL and Samantha (Luke) Sandersfeld of DuPont, WA; 2 brothers, Tyler (Brian) Meysenburg of Ocala, FL and Seth Meysenburg of Seminole, FL; one step-sister, Kadance Zenkovich of Spencer, IA; Paternal grandparents, Bill (Bobbie) Meysenburg of Albion, NE and Belinda (Scott) Meysenburg of Albion, NE; 4 nieces, Raelynn, Brielle, Addison, and Fiona; one nephew, Leo; numerous aunts and uncles; other relatives; and friends.
