Teresa Lynn Kilts

     Theresa Lynn Kilts, the daughter of Susan Deloris Kilts and Colin Kelly Kilts was born September 11th 1964 in Iowa City, Iowa.  She grew up in Livermore, Rutland, Cedar Rapids, Spirit Lake and finally Spencer, Iowa.

     She enjoyed as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She liked to play cards, fishing, jewelry collecting and many other hobbies. 

  She is survived by Lonn, Dustin, and Daniel Whitford of Iowa. Michael Kilts; Grandchildren: Madison, Addison, Knoxx, Tivianna, Emmalexia, Courdan, Essence, Onix, Adien and Braxton. 

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Kilts and her father Colin Kilts; brothers Colin Kilts Jr. and Steven Kilts and sister, Gwendalyn Kilts (Wilson) and niece Brittany Wilson. 

She will be remembered for her enjoyment of life and love of spending time with family and friends. 

Theresa was blessed with four children; Lonn, Dustin, Daniel Whitford and Michael Kilts. 

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way.

If my parting has left a void

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.

And yet, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow.

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I savored much--

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;

 Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
