Terri R. Mccarroll

August 22, 1951 — October 31, 2014

Terri Renee McCarroll was born on August 22, 1951 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Joe and Alice (Peltz) Hergenreter. After graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School, Terri married her high school sweetheart William (Bill) McCarroll in September of 1972. Terri and Bill have two children, Jennifer and Sara. Terri enjoyed giving to those she cared for. She received the Culligan Iowa Secretary of the Year Award and Terri and Bill received the Grinnell Outstanding Volunteer Partner of the Year Award, both acknowledging the dedication she gave to everything. She enriched lives with her warm smile, whether on the phone or in person, as office manager for the companies she worked for. Terri recently retired and took pleasure in the extra time this allowed her to organize, rearrange and show her family the love she felt. Terri is survived by her husband and daughters, her brother Dennis (Darla) Hergenreter; her sister Deb (Steve) Blunt and children Katie and Kelly; and sister Denise (Dave) Olson and child Tracy and her two children, along with the many lifelong friends that Terri called family. Terri is preceeded in death by her parents. Memorials can be made to the Spencer People for Pets organization.

SERVICES

Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 3, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer. Memorials may be directed to People for Pets here in Spencer.
