Terry Wayne Campbell, the son of Robert Dean and Janet Louise Olson Campbell, was born October 19, 1952, in Royal, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in the communities of Royal, Spencer, Lake Center, Terril and Everly, Iowa, where he received his education. He entered the military on August 1, 1977, and served with the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge on August 7, 1979. Following his military service, he moved to West Virginia where he worked for a nuclear power plant for many years. He later worked at the shipyards where he was employed until an accident at work forced him to retire. Following his retirement, he worked buying and selling horses on his farm. He was a member of the Eagle's in Spencer.
Terry passed away at his farm near Spencer, Iowa, on Monday, June 19, 2006, at the age of 53. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, grandfather and parents.
He is survived by two sons: Terry and Robert Morfitt of Spencer, IA; one daughter, Janet Campbell of Hawaii; four grandchildren; three brothers: Tim Campbell and his wife, Pat, Tracy Campbell and his wife, Debbie, and Troy Campbell all of Spencer, IA; one sister, Tamra and her husband, Vern Schwarting of Spencer, IA; grandmother, Darlane Campbell of Spencer, IA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
