Thelma Weiland Wiese

October 26, 1928 — February 20, 2010

Thelma Weiland Wiese, the daughter of Christopher and Ruth (Vandemark) Weiland, was born October 26, 1928 in Spencer, Iowa. She grew up on the family farm near Spencer, where she received her education. Thelma married Amos Wiese on November 17, 1946 in Spencer. Throughout their marriage they lived in Spencer, before moving to Golden, Colorado, where she has resided for the last 38 years. She was employed at Coors Porcelain in Golden for 17 years, until her retirement. Thelma passed away at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Wiese on June 18, 1998 and one sister, Martha Weiland. She is survived by her children: Ronald (Mary) Wiese of McKinney, TX, Beverly Enger of Longmont, CO and Robert (Deb Chapman) Wiese of Greenville, IA; a sister, Marian Pachacki of Stockton, CA; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held at 1:30P.M., Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

North Lawn Memorial Park Spencer, Iowa Following the graveside service, there will be lunch served at the Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer.
