Thomas E. Mills

Thomas Eugene Mills, the son of Donald and Wanda (Birchard) Mills, was born March 6, 1950, in Spencer, IA. He attended Spencer Schools until moving to the Gillet Grove area. Tom married JoAnn Barker on July 17, 1972, in Spencer, IA. Tom worked as a roofer for H&S Roofing, for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, gardening, garage sales and auctions, but his greatest joy was taking his grandchildren for rides and walks. Tom passed away Saturday, December 18, at the Ruthven Care Center, in Ruthven, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Wanda; a sister, Linda Vodraska; and a son, Timothy Mills. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, JoAnn, of Spencer, IA; 3 sons, Thomas Mills Jr., of Greenville, IL, Allen Mills of Spencer, IA, and Charles Mills of Spencer, IA; 1 daughter, Mary (Toby) Reandeau of Spencer, IA; 6 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Donald Mills of Spirit Lake, IA, Ron Mills of Spencer, IA, Larry Mills of Spencer, IA, and Richard Mills of Granite Falls, WA; many nieces and nephews; other relatives, and many friends.

SERVICES

Services will take place Wednesday, December 22, at 10:00 A.M. at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
